It was in the middle of COVID that we last ventured to Coleville to deliver a trainer training course to the production supervisors at Trans Continental Marketing (TCM). This time round it was for a very different training requirement, where we delivered an Internal Auditor training programme to create an expanded team of auditors capable of creating and delivering a programme of internal audits to satisfy the various quality standards of the BRC, Tesco, Sainsbury’s and ISO 9001.
The training itself was designed as a bespoke programme and matched to the unique needs of TCM. Workshops completed during the day facilitated a review of the various quality standards to finalise a common quality standard to support the TCM internal auditing programme.
During this work, we were amazed at how quality standard requirements for the same products can vary so much between different standard setting organisations.
