We have been drafting the second batch of learning resources for Western Maritime Training, this time looking at some of the general maritime skills and knowledge required by Tug Masters.
The development work which has given us a far greater appreciation and understanding of port-based tug boat operations and what it means to be a Tug Master and we are looking forward to working with Western Maritime Training to develop the next tranche of learning resources. One of the key development requirements we have had to implement in this project has been the redesign of the all the graphics into the new Western Maritime Training house style.
Topics covered so far include Management and working relationships and Ship construction and survey. Both these topics are applicable across the wider maritime sector so Western Maritime will be able to use these materials with the other marine seafarer professionals they work with.
