We have just started working with a group of Lantra approved training providers to recognise their professional skills. The programme is designed to build on existing skills, and support the further development of the centre managers and administrators leading to achievement of an IQA qualification. The introductory workshop via Zoom was held in May where we explored the quality assurance in the context of the training cycle and the role of the IQA. This was a great session with all those attending making some great contributions and really contributing to the day. This is an interesting development aimed at recognising the competency of those that have been delivering certificated training for Lantra for many years.
The training element of the project has been delivered and the candidate IQAs are now actively collecting evidence using the SwiftTrack evidence collection App to demonstrate their competence in the IQA role.
