Trainer Training
Develop the ability to assure the quality of approved training providers
Great training experiences, for the most part, rely on great trainers. Whether delivering workplace instruction, professional development or accredited qualifications, effective trainers need the confidence, knowledge and practical skills to engage learners and achieve meaningful learning outcomes.
At RI Training, we deliver practical Trainer Development programmes for individuals and organisations that need to design, deliver and evaluate effective training. Whether you are new to training or an experienced trainer looking to refresh your skills, our programmes provide practical techniques, recognised qualifications and the confidence to deliver engaging and effective learning.

Course Overview
Our trainer training programmes are flexible and can be delivered for organisations or groups of individual learners. Training may be delivered face-to-face, online or through a blended learning approach, depending on your requirements.
Programmes typically range from one to five days and combine tutor-led sessions, practical activities, group discussions and training delivery practice.
Throughout the programme, participants design and deliver short training sessions, receiving constructive feedback from both the trainer and other delegates to build confidence and improve delivery skills.

All our trainer development programmes cover the knowledge and practical skills required to design and deliver engaging learning experiences.
Topics include:

Nationally Recognised Qualifications
Our trainer training can be completed by anyone who wants to upskill. But if desired, learners can choose to complete one of the following nationally recognised qualifications:
- Level 3 Award in Education and Training (for trainers)
- Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training (for training managers)
- Level 3 Certificate in Learning and Development
- Level 4 Diploma in Learning and Development
We will help you select the qualification that best matches your role, experience and professional development goals.
Assessment and Certification
If you are interested in becoming a trainer or developing trainers for your organisation, we would be happy to discuss your requirements.
The qualifications are competency-based and require learners to demonstrate their training skills in real or realistic learning environments.
Evidence is collected throughout the programme using SwiftTrack, our secure online e-portfolio platform. Learners can upload session plans, learning resources, reflective accounts, observations and other supporting evidence while receiving ongoing guidance and feedback from their assessor.
Once the required evidence has been completed, the portfolio is assessed and verified against the qualification standards before certification is awarded.
