Case study: Seafish Drug Awareness
Aim
The objective was to improve drug awareness for individuals working within the fishing industry.
Our Approach
RI commissioned a drug abuse specialist from Bath University to create an accurate description of the impact of drug abuse on the human body. We then used this content to create a bespoke SCORM e-learning package that introduces the dangers of drug abuse at sea.
The programme used clear visual learning and structured content to help learners understand the potential impact of drug use in the high-risk working environment on board fishing vessels.
Outcome
The completed solution was hosted on the Seafish Online Moodle learning platform. It continues to offer an engaging, accessible safety training resource that enhances drug awareness and safer working practices within the fishing industry.
