Case study: KLM UK Engineering Moodle Learning Platform and WordPress store

KLM UK Engineering Limited required a digital learning platform to support the delivery of technical aviation training for aircraft engineers and apprentices studying through the International Aviation Academy in Norwich.

RI Training was commissioned to design, implement and manage a dedicated Moodle learning platform to support learners accessing training both in the UK and internationally.

In 2024, to support the academy’s continued growth, RI further developed the platform by integrating a WordPress front-end that provided a public-facing course catalogue, online payment functionality and direct access to Moodle-based e-learning programmes.

The combined Moodle and WordPress solution has provided KLM UK Engineering with a scalable, accessible online training platform that supports learners from around the world. The system continues to support the delivery and commercial expansion of the academy’s technical aviation training programmes.
