Case study: Anorexia and Bulimia Care

Anorexia and Bulimia Care (ABC) is a charity that provides ongoing care, emotional support and practical guidance for anyone affected by eating disorders, those struggling personally and parents, families and friends.

Anorexia and Bulimia Care required a digital learning solution to provide practical dietary guidance and recovery support for individuals affected by eating disorders.

RI Training worked with subject experts from the charity to create a series of learner-centred SCORM packages that delivered sensitive information in a supportive and accessible way.

The programme structure encouraged gradual engagement while ensuring users could access practical guidance at their own pace. The materials were developed in a sensitive way that balanced accessibility, empathy and practical information.

The design approach ensured content was supportive, easy to navigate and suitable for users engaging with emotionally complex subject matter.

The resulting programme provided a trusted online learning resource that supported recovery journeys and improved access to practical dietary guidance for learners who may otherwise struggle to engage with traditional support methods.
